WORSHIP AS GOD MADE YOU
“Alleluia! We praise you, God, in your sanctuary!”- Psalm 150:1
Our worship is the epicenter of our Christian life together. We join together in prayer, singing, and hearing the Word of God. Together we bring our joys, concerns, and everything we are to discover Divine hope and renewal for our daily lives.
We have Communion on the first Sunday of the month, with the exception of September, when it is served on the second Sunday and in July when we do not serve communion. We focus on singing music to revive our souls, reflecting upon the sacred Christian stories to discover the Holy Spirit’s guidance, and to pray for our community and ourselves. We worship to bring us closer to the Divine Trinity, one another, and renew our purpose in God’s creation.
We are rooted in deep Christian tradition and seek the Holy Spirit’s guidance to live anew in God’s loving presence. Come join us!
FAQ
Do you celebrate Holy Communion
Yes! We celebrate the feast of Christ the first Sunday of every month (September is the 2nd Sunday), except July. We practice open table communion which means everyone is welcome to participate. We are currently using sealed, self-contained communion cups. These are two-part cups with the wafer sealed on top of the sealed juice.
What do children do during worship?
We are blessed with lively young ones in our community. We have a children’s moment during worship where the pastor offers a special message to them. After this, they are invited to sit in the pews with their family. Children’s Bulletins and crayons or colored pencils are available to help the younger hands stay busy and minds and hearts hear the Word and feel the Spirit.
